A new life for old hand loomed Persian Carpets and Turkish Rugs

A new life for old Turkish and Persian carpets that have been damaged with wear and are beyond repair. The undamaged sections have been salvaged and resurrected to be loved again in the form of cushion covers.

The cushion fronts are 100% wool and lined. The backs are 100% cotton with zip closures that are generous and easy to use for inserting cushions.

Kilim rugs have been used to make these cushion covers and for most of this selection the colours are vegetable dyed. The photographs may not be a true representation of the colours but are as close as I have been able to get.

There is one jijim or embroidered kilim and one cushion cover made from a completely worn pile rug from the Bokhara region.
